Our History
Specializing in the processing of natural horn since his teens, Giovanni ventured into the challenge of modeling an apparently indomitable material with the aim of releasing the wonderful shades that only the horn features. Years of experiments and attempts have led the Zanchi family to understand all the deepest secrets of this material, passing them on for three generations.

Foundation of the “Zanchi Giovanni” Company by Margherita Beduschi.

Medaglia d'Oro [Gold Medal]
At the age of sixteen, Giovanni wins the Medaglia d’Oro of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce at the III Exhibition of Lombard Crafts, hosted at Villa Reale in Monza.

Moving of the new headquarter in Via Giuseppina, Bozzolo (Mantua).

Fashion Sector
First step in the fashion sector with the production of toggles and horn blanks (both for plate and tip).

40 years of activity
Giovanni Zanchi is awarded with a gold medal for his 40 years of activity by “Camera di Commercio e Artigianato of Mantua”.

The new generation
Giovanni Zanchi hands the company over his 3 sons: Maurizio, Cristina and Marco. It borns “Zanchi Giovanni of Zanchi Maurizio & C. snc.” Company.

Birth of the “Zanchi 1952” brand dedicated to the creation of finished products oriented to the furniture and interior design sectors.
