What kind of semi-finished products we realize
- Horn plates: the plates production involves the use of a bandsaw to cut the whole raw horn, the subsequent hot pressing and the calibration phases to obtain the required thickness and colours.
- Knife handles: the handles production involves the same processes as the plates ones, to which are added the laser cutting of the shape and its drilling.
- Plates horn blanks:he African ox horn is selected according to the colour, to obtain the greatest number of hollow horns with the desired shades. We continue with a bandsaw cutting to create the sections suitable for the subsequent hot pressing phase. Once pressed, the plates are ready to be cut using cup cutters to obtain various button lines of hollow horns. This is followed by the calibration process using flattening machines, and the careful selection of the colours in seven shades.
- Horn blanks stock: the horn blanks of Indian ox and buffalo and the horn and bone plates of Indian buffalo are subjected to an accurate quality control on the size, thickness and colour. Packaged and stored, they are then ready for sale. We have a stock of horn blanks ready for delivery of an average of 5 million units, in 20 different colours.
