- Production of horn blanks from plate (African ox horn). The horn is carefully selected according to the colour in order to obtain horn blanks with the most uniform shade possible.The horny protuberances are cut with a bandsaw, making the sections suitable for the subsequent pressing. The plates are then ready to be cut using cup cutters to realize horn blanks in various lines; the calibration by leveling machines and the selection of the colours in seven shades close the process.
- Stock horn tip blanks (Ox or Indian buffalo), horn plate blanks (Indian buffalo) and bone. Ensuring product uniformity, the horn blanks are subjected to careful selection and quality control (shape, thickness and colour); then they are packaged and stored, ready for sale. We always stock a significant quantity of available horn blanks in the warehouse (5 million units average), divided by colour, size and thickness.
